Take Small Steps
Usually, in goal setting, taking small steps is part of achieving your goals. I have even mentioned it here in my recent posts as part of goal setting. Not only with goal setting but with getting motivated as well. Taking small steps really helps and so I am writing about it not just as a part of any posts but as a subject.
When you don’t feel like doing a task you don’t like but you are obliged to do it, take the small step. Start from the easiest part to condition yourself for the task. At first you may really feel uninterested with the task. But if you have started it already, you may not notice that you are already doing it little by little. It may not be easy to start it because you are not interested. So to start, do the easy part. Then continue doing the task little by little. You’ll be then surprised that you are almost finished with the task. Just think how good it feels when you have finished doing a task you are not even interested.
With bigger tasks or even goals, you may feel overwhelmed thinking how difficult it is that you get discouraged doing it. Taking the small steps is effective in this situation. Break down your tasks or goals into small parts and you do them one by one so that you won’t feel how big the task or goal is.
