Being too serious can drive you crazy. Its what I’ve read from tipsforsuccess.org on the article about seriousness. Maybe we haven’t noticed it sometimes that we are too serious and preoccupied of our job or tasks that we have overlooked some areas in our life. We may have even forgotten to smile at times. I have seen in movies or even in tv programs. There are situations mostly of parents and child that the parents are too busy earning for money that they have not much time for their children; or that they have been to serious over something that their loved ones are affected. They become unapproachable, irritable, and the likes.

Being too serious can cause stress, anxiety, worries and failure. Success comes with a lot of factors and being too serious over just one factor, you might overlook the others. We need to smile at times, laugh a little, and have a break. This will help us overcome stress from work so that we can handle our problems or pressures in a light manner. It is easier to think when we are not under stressed and do our jobs well.

The whole point of this is not trying to say that we should not treat our work or other things seriously but we just need to lighten up ourselves. We need to lighten up our mind so that we can function well. There is nothing wrong if a top executive of a company joins his/her employees to a one night of fun. If doing it is too much already, well, a simple smile under a load of pressure can lighten up not only their feelings but yours as well.
