“Before you achieve, you must believe”

I just recently watched a movie about a training in the navy.  There’s this one fat guy who was not able to climb up on one of the obstacle course during the training mainly because of his weight and body built.  His company commander told them that they must pass through it for them to pass the training.

On that night, while they were supposed to be sleeping, he was telling himself, “before you achieve you must believe.”  It sounded like he was memorizing it loudly and his room mates were even disturbed.  But that hit them also because as the training progresses, it was getting harder.  That sentence was his motivator that he was really able to climb and pass through that obstacle course with the help of his room mate.  Though he didn’t completed the course on time, with a difference of four seconds only, the thing is, he believed that he will be able to climb that obstacle course.

Believing makes you achieve your goal.  It gives you the spirit to do what you thought you can’t do.  It also vanishes the thought of quitting.  So, before you achieve, you must believe!
