Law of Attraction

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

The Law of Attraction. When I have learned of it, it has really a positive effect on me. It feels enlightening and its like you can achieve your dreams. Even if you know that it is not easy to reach that dream, you will still be motivated and empowered to strive for it. Hearing the different success stories of the Law of Attraction, I have thought that I can do it as well. It is for everyone, regardless of status in the society or whatever your present situation is.

The Law of Attraction speaks of thinking positive. You think of the positive things that you would like to happen and not the negative ones. Thinking over the negative things will just worry you. But if you think of the positive things, the more that you attract that to happen. It is because you focus on that thing and put more energy to it that makes it possible to happen.

Also, I have learned that we are the creators of our future. What we are now is the result of what we have thought we could be. What we need to do now is to think strongly of our desires so as to attract it. By understanding the Law of Attraction, you can achieve the direction you want in life.

Procrastinating Because of Fear

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

One cause of procrastination is fear. Having this notion over a task, like thinking that it is very difficult and that we don’t want to do it. So what we do is we avoid it. As much as possible, the task won’t be appointed to us or we do not have to deal with it. Another is we intentionally delay doing a task hoping that it will just pass until we will no longer do it at all.

There could be no problem letting a task just pass or expire, or maybe totally avoid having to deal with it. But, some tasks are interrelated that you need to do one to be able to accomplish the other. If you have goals, you have to go over it step by step to be able to accomplish it while understanding the difference between good and bad procrastination.
Most of the times, we feel like we just can’t do it or that we lack self-discipline. There are a lot of excuses that comes in our mind why we procrastinate over it. But what we must deal with is our fear of that task. We should overcome fear and build motivation over that task and do not think that we can’t do it or that we don’t want to do it.

Getting More Creativity in Life

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

There comes a time when we lose the motivation to work.  It usually happens when our work becomes an everyday routine, and we don’t feel like growing or acquiring new knowledge and skills.  Lose of motivation can badly affect our performance and we don’t want that to happen.  People have this need for growth.

One way to avoid this and have the chance to grow is to take on new challenges in life.   Welcome new changes in you and be ready to grow.  You may take on new projects at work, those that are different than what you usually do.  Also, you can do something different in your work, add a little creativity to it.  That way, you don’t only grow for yourself but for your work as well.

Outdoor activities or activities not related to your work may help, too.  It will help you feel good about yourself and be more motivated in life.  Adding some variety in life will lead you out of boredom and help you grow better as a person.  Just be more creative, you don’t have to do complicated things just for a change.  You can do simple things that can motivate you.

Every Story Starts From Somewhere

Every story starts from somewhere. . .

We all have dreams in life, or maybe aspirations.  Sometimes, we think that they are just dreams; that they are not within our reach.  Hopeless, we get contented of being stuck on where we are.  Then just look up to that dream of ours and sigh.

What we need to do is to realize that dream.  There is always a way to reach that dream.  Every story starts from somewhere.  The important thing is that we start it.  Then, be positive about it.  Visualizing that dream will help us get motivated in striving to reach it.  There are so many rags-to-riches story all over the world.  Come to think of it.  Those successful people who started from rags.  If they have done it, why can’t we?
